Good morning everyone! I'm Zhang Zhihan from Class 6, Grade 2. Today the topic of my speech is "Set High Goals Early and Walk Firmly on the Road".
“穿林打叶”声里“吟啸徐行”，自可见“山头斜照却相迎”之美景，“日薄西山”之际“直挂云帆”，也能有“落霞与孤鹜齐飞”之盛况。人生天地间，笑傲风和雨，凭借的就是那一腔鸿鹄之志，那一步一个脚印的行稳致远。
When walking through the forest with the sound of leaves being beaten, we can see the beautiful scene of "slanting sunshine greeting" and when the sun is setting, we can also have the situation of "the setting sun and the lone wild duck flying together". In this world of life, laughing at the wind and rain, it depends on that kind of lofty goal and that step-by-step stable walking.
汉代杨雄以射箭譬喻理想，道尽了理想之于人生的意义，讲明了实践之于理想的价值。作为新时代青年的一员，我目睹了祖国的日益强大，也经历了复兴道路的坎坷曲折。一次次我为理想的光辉照耀，一次次我为实现理想的艰难落泪，一次次我为无数青年勇于实践的精神感召。作为新时代的青年，我愈加明了"立义"至于人生之意义。正所谓心中有信仰，前行有方向，脚下有力量。理想不仅是黑暗时代，指引青年奋斗的明灯，更是和平时期激励青年继续奋斗的集结号。然而在实现理想的道路上，荆棘丛生，道阻且长。既然选择了远方，便只能风雨兼程。现实中总是有人在面对前进路上的困难时，感慨“秋风秋雨秋煞人”。然而我辈青年却更应在理想之光的指引下，拨云见日，立大志，明大德，成大才。担大任。
In the Han Dynasty, Yang Xiong used archery as a metaphor for ideals, clearly explaining the meaning of ideals in life and the value of practice for ideals. As a member of the new era's youth, I have witnessed the growing strength of the motherland and also experienced the bumpy and twisty path of rejuvenation. Again and again I am illuminated by the brightness of ideals, again and again I shed tears for the difficulty of realizing ideals, and again and again I am inspired by the spirit of many young people who have the courage to practice. As the youth in the new era, I increasingly understand the meaning of "setting goals" to life. There is a saying that with belief in heart, there is a direction in walking, and there is strength under the feet. Ideals are not only the guiding light for the youth to strive in the dark times, but also the call to inspire the youth to continue to strive in the peaceful period. However, on the way of realizing ideals, there are many difficulties and the road is long and blocked. Since we have chosen the distance, we can only go through the wind and rain. In reality, there are always some people who, when facing the difficulties on the way forward, sigh that "the autumn wind, the autumn rain, and the autumn are so cruel". But our generation of youth should rather, under the guidance of the light of ideals, see through the clouds and see the sun, set big goals, be good people, become talented, and take on big responsibilities.
